ROSKILDE Festival 2015: First acts announced30.09.2014
Are you ready? Because Roskilde is kick-starting the #rf15 season. Tickets are for sale now, and we're ready with the first music acts.
As some kind of distillate of the full 169-acts-sized line-up, Roskilde presents music that tastes of both rock, metal, hip hop, electronica and world music.
American band Lamb of God
will play their first concert at Roskilde Festival in 2015. They also welcome 'home' the stargazing prog-popsters in Mew
who are readying a brand-new album. They play their only Danish festival gig at Roskilde. The 2015 line-up also includes the naughty hip hop lads from Suspekt
who have to be the most important hip hop group in the country right now. Ready yourself for a late-night celebration on Orange Stage. Additionally, you can look forward to luminous electronic sounds from Rustie
, bluesy rock virtues from the hands of Dolomite Minor
, dusty Malian desert blues from Khaira Arby
, classical avant-garde treats from Kronos Quartet and a punch to the stomach from Tombs
who play transcending metal. Buy tickets for the whole camp and reserve your own space Imagine being able to reserve your very own area for the camp at Roskilde Festival. Now you can – free of charge, even. If you buy 10 tickets in one purchase, Roskilde will give you a 10x10 metres-sized area in area N (see map).
The popular alternative accommodation add-on tickets are also up for sale. You can buy a tent that is pitched for you, special tent houses with electricity or a rockwool-insulated shelter that protects against heat, cold, water and sound.
If you want to stay at the regular campsite (which is always included in the ticket) and want to enter among the very first, you can also make an entrance booking. It just requires that you purchase a ticket. Only necessary for the very eager.
In 2015, a Full Festival Ticket costs DKK 1940 (+ fee) (that's approximately EUR 260), and a one-day tickets costs DKK 980 (+ fee) (that's approximately EUR 130).
Roskilde 2015 starts early. So let's get ready...
