Since 2001, Primavera Sound has been inseparable from Barcelona. Just as the city’s pavements are marked by panots and the 1992 Olympics shaped its identity, the festival has helped define Barcelona as a global music capital. In June 2026, the 24th edition once again turns the city into a mosaic of sound, energy and culture.
Dates & Venues
The main festival days will run from 4th–6th June 2026 at Parc del Fòrum, with an opening day, the electronic marathon Primavera Bits on Sunday, and shows spread throughout the city. After a short pause, the Auditori Fòrum also returns with unique concerts. Meanwhile, Primavera Pro (3rd–7th June) will gather industry professionals for talks and showcases.

Headliners & Icons
Leading the lineup is The Cure, returning after setting the record for Primavera’s longest-ever concert. They are joined by the genre-bending Doja Cat, the comeback of festival icons The xx, the ever-innovative Gorillaz with a new album The Mountain, the long-awaited first appearance of Massive Attack, viral pop star Addison Rae, and shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine. Together, they represent five decades of music history — from distorted guitars to pop, hip-hop, and cutting-edge electronic sounds.
