Noch 22 Tage bis zum Picture On 2011! GEWINNE FESTIVALPÄSSE

The Picture On event has earned cult status for its relaxed atmosphere and fair-price policy. Day tickets will cost 39 Euros, a three-day pass 79 Euros.

Around 8,000 music lovers are expected to head to the 330-people-strong village near the Hungarian border. Many of them return every year after falling in love with the chilled setting of the event – which takes place in the backyard of a local church.

While other huge events result in residents complaining about noise and pollution, the elderly community of Bildein regards Picture On as the highlight of the year. Old women sitting in their front gardens to observe funny-looking young people strolling through the sleepy town are part of the beloved quirkiness that makes Picture On such a special event.
